Gulfport High School

Gulfport High School's chapter of Tri-M Music Honor Society was found in the fall of 2007.  It's members come from the marching band, concert and symphonic bands, jazz band, orchestra, chamber orchestra, concert choir, girls choir, ladies' ensemble, men's ensemble and madrigals.  The chapter's purpose is to foster the community service and musical interests of its members, while also recognizing those music students whose academic, leadership and musical experiences show a tradition of excellence.

Membership Requirements

•  Must be enrolled in choir, band or orchestra at G.H.S.
• Must have a C G.P.A. or better.
• Must have a B or better in all music courses.
• Must have recommendation from ensemble director.
• Must have recommendation from a teacher from another discipline.
• Must complete 8 hours of community service annually to be considered for continued membership.
